There are so many good words, it's hard to stop!

If your story development process has problems, don't just treat the symptoms and keep on churning out stuff you're not happy with in the blind hope it'll magically get better.
Blow the whistle, stop the badness machine, and trouble shoot your story's development. Find out what's wrong and fix it.

Oh, I just saw 'The Majestic' with Jim Carey - it was a terrific film! Very campy and silly, and one of those "Awwwww!" films. It was inspiring and inspired me to give you these three words:

ReplyDeleteI guess I have no right to give you words to inspire, since lately I failed to inspire myself (at writing in my blog). I blame it on my busy job :( But I use those words to inspire myself at work, so maybe they help!

ReplyDeleteAnd, just to clarify - we're not building the house ourselves :) Our builder, Bruce, and his minions are doing it for us! Sean would love to do it, but with working full time... And if I built the house, well, it wouldn't stand for more than a second *g*.
Semantics, dear Tess. Although my husband did actually GM our project (and assist in every aspect of it - he does do renos for a living) I still know how it feels to be a part of every single step and nail along the way. Trust me, it'll be over before you know it. It's been 4 years since we finished, but I remember feeling like we'd never finish!
