I finally feel like I’m getting caught up with my deadlines at work. It’s tough writing and editing all day and then coming home with the intention to write. Doesn’t happen much. So, tonight I am going to work on my day job work and get a jump ahead so I can spend some time on my WIP this weekend. I’m so excited about my new project.
I’m also excited about an author interview coming up. Michelle Rowan, author of Bitten & Smitten has agreed to be interviewed for this blog. Do yourself a favor and pick up this gem, it’s funny and adventurous and unique. Bitten & Smitten is Michelle’s first published book, and it’s been extremely successful (read this review).

I have read all of Anne rice's books featuring vampires, but I don't know that I'd want to read others as well. What shets this book apart so that I should read it?

wow.. looks like a full plate of writing work. Makes my 3-4 blogposts a week seem like a warm up exercise... here via michele's.
I haven't had time to continue cartooning... much less starting any writing projects, though my wife has suggested it. Between work, continuing grad. school, hockey and changing diapers... Something had to give, and it wasn't going to be hockey.

I write and edit for my dayjob, too, and yeah, sometimes it's tough to go home and work on my novel. But my solution was to buy a laptop so I could sit on the couch instead of at a desk, which I do all day at work. :-)
I can absolutely relate to the whole I-did-this-all-day-I-don't-want-to-think-about-it-anymore feeling. Except for me, it has more to do with glaring at a computer screen. Here from Michele's today. Good luck with your projects!
Oh sweetie, I can so relate. I do the same thing: writing and editing by day, then trying to sit down and work on a novel at night. I feel like I should attach the computer to my hands.

I hear ya. I'm a contractor, and we're in year nine of remodeling our home.
