Yes, that's me. Finding an excuse not to write. Ironic, since I have this blog habit. Still, why is that we make enjoyable things into chores sometimes?

Michele sent me. Have a great weekend!

I lost my first bichon frise (Tara) on 2/13/06...it still hurts and I think it always will even though I do have 2 other bichons and miss kitty. There is no greater love than the love of the non judgmental furchildren.

Here from Michele.

I haven't suffered in a while, and when I do, writing's the last thing I want to do. Aspirin or bourbon, maybe.

Here via Michele today.

I suffer for my words on an almost constant basis. I think it's part of a writer's DNA: if it's too easy, then perhaps it just isn't worth doing.

Ah, yes. We must suffer for our art. But then there's the great joy of art, too. And that's why we do it in the first place. :-)
